Effectiveness in service of something worth doing.
OUR DEFINITION
Impact hacking is the art and science of becoming more effective every day in pursuit of a meaningful calling or purpose.
Productivity is a lever. Systems are a lever. AI is a lever. The measure is whether they help people create meaningful, visible progress without losing sight of why the work matters.
HOW WE GOT HERE / 01
From a collective of practitioners to a product studio.
Impact Hackers began by bringing trainers, coaches, and systems builders around entrepreneurs and teams trying to create a deeper impact in their communities and the world.
The work kept revealing the same tension: thoughtful people were carrying meaningful missions, but their operating systems made it hard to protect the work, see progress, and learn from reality.
Today we turn that accumulated practice into guided programs, AI-connected tools, downloadable skills, workshops, and operating experiments that all share one loop: aim, build, prove, improve.
THE CORE TEAM / 02
Two complementary ways of seeing the work.
Innovation asks what could be possible. Operations asks how it will work on Tuesday. Impact Hackers needs both.
DSINNOVATION + PRODUCT
Devin Shea
Devin has spent more than a decade studying and applying organizational and social innovation, productivity, systems and design thinking, product management, and project management.
His role is to synthesize unusual perspectives into practical systems, products, and experiments for people working on holistic solutions.
Pj has spent more than a decade building startups across business systems, marketing, and community development.
He designs business and lifestyle systems around productivity, alignment, and impact—with a particular interest in helping purpose-driven work become more coherent and sustainable.
Impact Hackers has always worked through a wider network of coaches, specialists, collaborators, and mission-driven organizations. The right system sometimes starts by bringing the right perspective into the room.
WHAT WE BELIEVE / 03
The operating principles beneath every product.
01
Mission before motion
Effectiveness only matters in relation to a calling, outcome, or contribution worth advancing.
02
Systems should fit people
The operating model has to survive the real team, calendar, energy, and constraints—not an idealized version.
03
Evidence before certainty
We build small experiments that create enough evidence to make the next decision with more confidence.
04
Always Even Better If
Every product and engagement should produce learning that makes the next version more useful.
HOW WE TALK ABOUT PROOF / 04
A claim should leave a receipt.
We use Impact Receipts to separate context, intervention, reported evidence, and learning. Boundaries belong in the artifact too: feedback from an earlier service should never masquerade as a result from a new product.
